Nazi Physicians
"...I will apply dietetic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice...I will not give a deadly drug to anybody.... Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art...Whatever houses I may visit, I will come for the benefit of the sick, remaining free of all intentional injustice...."
~ Hippocratic Oath
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The above quote is an excerpt from the Hippocratic Oath. Originally written in between 510 B.C. and 300 B.C. the oath was written by an unknown author as a moral code for doctors. It was called the Hippocratic Oath after a Greek physician, Hippocrates (460 B.C. to 377 B.C.), a contemporary of Socrates and the man called "the Father of Modern Medicine." By the late 18th century or early 19th century the Hippocratic Oath had become part of the medical world. Medical school graduates recited the oath at their graduation ceremonies as a pledge to always uphold the sanctity of medicine and to care for the suffering with compassion. During the Holocaust, many Nazi physicians committed horrible crimes in the name of "Medical Research," most of these men had taken the Hippocratic Oath. Following the Second World War, the Nuremberg Code was created to secure patients' rights and protect them from physical torture at the hands of physicians.
Carl Clauberg - worked primarily in the chemical sterilization of women.
"The non-surgical method of sterilizing women that I have invented is now almost perfected . . . As for the questions that you have directed to me, sir, I can today answer them in the way that I had anticipated: if the research that I am carrying out continues to yield the sort of results that it has produced so far (and there is no reason to suppose that this shall not be the case), then I shall be able to report in the foreseeable future that one experienced physician, with an appropriately equipped office and the aid of ten auxiliary personnel, will be able to carry out in the course of a single day the sterilization of hundreds, or even 1,000 women."
~Carl Clauberg
