Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Genocide was commited by the Ottoman Empire from 1914 to 1918. Reportedly 1.5 million Armenians were exeuted for various reasons over this four year period because some had ties to Russia and joined the Russian military against the Ottomans. In retaliation the ruling body in the Ottoman Empire made a plan to punish the Armenian population in their Empire through starvation, execution, murder and other worst crimes. Mnay armenian businesses are closed down or have demands for goods and money forcably given to the government under the guise of contributions to the Empires war effort. other tradgies included a round up of Armenians from their nation to Prisons in the Ottoman Empire where they where executed as traitors. Read more on "Armenian Genocide," "Armenian," and "Armenian Genocide Introduction"
